After a long, strenuous moving experience to a nicer, larger townhouse, my wife released me to get back out with my camera. :-) I was able to meet up with friend and follow photographer Rod Best (http://rod-best.artistwebsites.com/) and we enjoyed several hours at Fort Ontario park in Oswego, NY. Below are my best shots from the trip. Enjoy!
A small sailboat enters the harbor with the lighthouse in the background.
A fun little gap in the rocks was creating very reliable spurts of water with each wave.
Same gap in the rocks with a slower shutter speed.
A row of headstones at the post cemetery. More info: http://nysparks.com/historic-sites/20/details.aspx
One of the breakwaters protecting the harbor.
A common gull soars overhead.
The lighthouse at sunset.
Construction equipment adding to the breakwaters at sunset.
My favorite shot of the lighthouse and breakwaters at sunset. I like the different lines in the photo.
Thanks!
