A few weekends ago, I set out on the 8+ mile hiking loop around Highland Forest near Tully, NY. They have a great variety of trail lengths and even do horseback riding in the summer.
Sadly, my start was a bit later than I hoped and I ran out of daylight before completing the entire loop. I did manage to log 6.1 miles and will definitely be back for another go, plus snowshoeing in the winter!

And, some photos:
One of the many stream crossings you encounter.
Looking up-stream at a ledge.
Same view, different focus.
Further down-stream before entering a gorge.
The trail going up, up, up.
Neat old farmhouse.
Get outside and enjoy yourself!
