After being offered some training for work in Boston, my wife and I decided to add a couple of days for ourselves and have a mini-vacation in Beantown! We did a lot of walking and eating, but only a bit of photo taking. Most of these are with my iPhone as my normal rig is quite heavy to carry all over the place. As always, we had a great time!
First stop: Legal Seafood for Lobsta Rolls!
Next stop: The New England Aquarium!
A penguin timeout. ;-)
The big tank.
Coral in the big tank.
A Weedy Sea Dragon.
An itty bitty seahorse - no more than 1" long!
Some vibrant anemones.
We also did a behind the scenes tour and learned more about aquarium operations and animal care. This is one of the exhibits looking through the access door. Cool!
Penguins hanging out.
Next up: A tour of Paul Revere's house!
Then on to the Old North Church.
The box pews and pipe organ in the Old North Church.
Saint Francis.
Finally, we did a Ghosts and Graveyards tour at night. Here is the steeple of the Park Street Church.
One of our theatrical tour guides!
Another of our guides.
And last, but not least: A panoramic shot of the Boston skyline across the Charles River.
One of our favorite places to visit!!
Hazzah!
